TERMS OF SERVICE
This Agreement to the Terms of Service (“Agreement”) is entered into between FurFurni (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the pet owner (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking any of our services, including but not limited to boarding and daycare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Agreement
By using our pet sitting services, you agree that FurFurni will provide care for your pet(s) under the outlined conditions and policies stated in this Agreement. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
2. Pet Health & Vaccinations
- All pets must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella (for dogs). Proof of vaccination is required before service.
- Pets must be free from fleas, ticks, and contagious diseases. If a pet is found to have fleas/ticks, a treatment fee may be charged, or the pet may be refused entry.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to pets with aggressive behavior or serious health issues that have not been disclosed.
3. Behavior & Socialization
- Pets must be non-aggressive and comfortable around other animals and people.
- If your pet exhibits aggressive behavior, we may contact you for immediate pickup and/or cease services without a refund.
- If your pet causes harm or damage to another pet, person, or property, you will be responsible for any costs incurred.
4. Emergency Care
- In the event of a medical emergency, we will make every effort to contact you. If you cannot be reached, you authorize FurFurni to seek veterinary care for your pet at your expense.
- You agree to cover all costs related to your pet’s medical treatment, including but not limited to vet visits, medications, and emergency procedures.
5. Drop-Off & Pick-Up
- Drop-off and pick-up must be scheduled in advance. Late pickups may incur an additional fee.
- If your pet is not picked up within 24 hours after the agreed pickup time and we are unable to reach you, your pet may be considered abandoned, and we will take appropriate action in accordance with local laws.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged the full service fee.
7. Liability & Waiver
- You acknowledge that pet care involves some level of risk, including but not limited to injury, illness, or unforeseen incidents.
- FurFurni is not liable for any injury, illness, or loss of your pet unless caused by gross negligence on our part.
- You agree to hold FurFurni, its employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims or damages resulting from the services provided.
8. Personal Belongings
- We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left with your pet (e.g., collars, leashes, toys, beds, etc.).
9. Photography & Marketing
- We may take photos/videos of your pet while in our care for updates and promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your pet’s photos to be used, please inform us in writing.
10. Agreement to Terms
By booking a service with FurFurni, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you should not proceed with using our services.
