How many pets do you care for at once?
We typically care for up to four dogs at a time. As a team of two dedicated caregivers, we carefully consider each dog’s personality, compatibility with the group, and specific care needs, ensuring every dog receives the personalized care and attention they deserve.
What types of pets do you accept (e.g., dogs, cats, small animals)?
We specialize in caring for small dogs and cats. We offer daycare and overnight care for dogs, as well as overnight care for cats. At this time, we’re unable to accommodate other types of pets.
Do you accept unspayed/neutered pets?
Yes, we do! However, it’s essential that you inform us in advance so we can plan accordingly to avoid hosting multiple unspayed or unneutered pets simultaneously, ensuring a safe and stress-free environment.
Can you care for pets with special needs or medical conditions?
Yes, we’re experienced in caring for pets with special needs or medical conditions. Please let us know the details about your pet’s requirements so we can provide the best care possible.
What is your policy on vaccinations?
We have two resident cats, so their safety is just as important as the safety of the pets in our care. All pets must be up to date on their core vaccinations, including rabies. Proof of vaccination is required before your pet’s stay. Bordetella vaccination is strongly recommended for dogs. For everyone’s safety, we may be unable to accommodate dogs showing signs of coughing, frequent sneezing, nasal discharge, repeated or unexplained vomiting or diarrhea, or any other potentially contagious illness.
Can you accommodate pets with separation anxiety?
Absolutely! We understand how challenging separation anxiety can be for pets. We provide a safe and calm environment, giving them the space and reassurance they need to feel comfortable.
What does a typical day look like for boarding or daycare pets?
For dogs, A typical day begins with a morning walk, followed by breakfast. After they’ve had time to digest, we enjoy indoor playtime to keep them active and happy. In the afternoon, we take another walk or, with the owner’s permission, suitable dogs may visit a nearby off leash dog park for exercise and socialization. We wrap up the day with an evening walk and dinner.
For cats, our home is a haven. We provide plenty of toys, including tunnels and scratching posts, and even play interactive cat TV games to keep them entertained. Their day includes cuddles (if they enjoy it), interactive play, clean litter boxes, fresh water, and meals served on their schedule.
How often do you take dogs out for walks/potty breaks?
We take dogs out for walks or potty breaks one to four times a day—morning, afternoon, evening and before bed. Each outing typically lasts 15–30 minutes, depending on the dog’s condition and size, as every dog is a little different. Additional potty breaks can be arranged based on your pet’s needs.
For cats, we ensure the litter box is cleaned regularly and provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day.
What kind of activities or playtime do you provide?
For dogs, we offer indoor and outdoor playtime, including games like fetch and tug of war. With the owner’s permission, suitable dogs may also visit off leash dog parks for exercise and socialization.
For cats, we spoil them with interactive play using feather toys, laser pointers, tunnels, and scratching posts. We also go the extra mile by playing cat TV games for mental stimulation.
Quiet time with petting or brushing is available for dogs and cats who prefer a calmer environment.
What kind of food or treats do you provide, or should I bring my own?
We ask that you bring your pet’s usual food and treats to avoid any digestive issues. However, if needed, we can provide basic treats or food
Can I bring my pet's favourite toys or bedding?
Yes, absolutely! Bringing their favorite toys, bedding, or even a blanket from home can help your pet feel more comfortable and relaxed during their stay.
